November 1st: 5th annual Charity Ball in Hotel Kilkenny

Kilkenny Business Women's Network held their 5th annual Charity Ball in Hotel Kilkenny on November 1st. The night kicked off and the mood was set for a great night with a Cosmopolitan Cocktail Reception in the City Suite. At 8.30pm guests moved up to the fabulous Skyline Suite for dinner where the ‘wow’ factor was created by linen from Got’cha Covered, flowers by Lamber and candles from Larry of Moth to a Flame. Goody bags bursting at the seams and an electric atmosphere made it a night to remember. MC Sharon Tobin from RTE News did a great job of making people dig deep to raise over €22000.00 for The Susie Long Hospice Fund and GROW.

Kilkenny Business Women’s Network would like to thank the main sponsors of the Ball StateStreet International. The main raffle prize, a fabulous 1966 MG roadster, part sponsored by Brian O'Dwyer of O’Dwyers Garage on the Waterford Road, was won by well-known auctioneer Fonsie Mealy.

Guests danced the night away to the lively music of The Swinging Blue Cats and DJ Paul Kavanagh. A great night and definitely the EVENT of this years social calendar.
